Su carrera musical comienza hacia 1974 en Argentina. Allí forma parte de una exitosa banda de rock sinfónico, Crucis. El grupo obtiene apoyo de crítica y público desde un primer momento y eso garantiza el éxito de su primer álbum titulado Crucis (1976) . Un a?o después graban su segundo trabajo, Los delirios del mariscal,un trabajo básicamente instrumental.Ese mismo a?o 1977, Gustavo comienza la grabación de su primer disco en solitario, lo que propiciaría la disolución de Crucis. Homenaje es el título de este trabajo y en él participan, entre otros músicos, Jorge álvarez.Posteriormente, forma Merlín junto a Alejandro De Michele, dúo que edita un solo disco pues se separan rápidamente a causa de profundas diferencias personales. Luego Gustavo forma Patricio y los Negativos y Doctor Rico, bandas efímeras que no llegan a dejar registros grabados.A mediados de 1981 forma, junto con su hermano Marcelo, la banda Montesano, con la que llega a grabar en 1982 el álbum titulado El pasillo.
The Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra (Swedish: Kungliga Filharmonikerna or Kungliga Filharmoniska Orkestern, literal translations, "Royal Philharmonic" or "Royal Philharmonic Orchestra") is a Swedish orchestra based in Stockholm.
The orchestra was founded in 1902 as the Stockholm Concert Society (Konsertf?reningens orkester). The orchestra became a permanent ensemble in 1914. Since 1926, it has been based in the Stockholm Concert Hall (Konserthuset). Starting in 1937, Radiotj?nst (now Swedish Radio) utilized the orchestra as its main broadcast orchestra, in lieu of having its own in-house orchestra. In 1957, it was renamed the Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra (Stockholms Filharmoniska Orkester). In 1992 it acquired its present name, with patronage from the Swedish royal family.[3]Georg Schnéevoigt was the first principal conductor of the orchestra. From 2000 to 2008, the American conductor Alan Gilbert was the orchestra's principal conductor. In 2008, Sakari Oramo took over the post, for an initial contract of 3 years.The orchestra participates annually in the Nobel Prize ceremonies and the Polar Prize for music celebrations. The organization also organizes two annual festivals at its home, the Stockholm Concert Hall, namely the Stockholm International Composer Festival (2007: Tan Dun) and Composer Weekend in May, focusing on a contemporary Swedish composer.
